Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Sheet Metal Worker to perform sheet metal duties onsite at NASA Johnson Space Center. The role requires hands-on use of hand and power tools, layout work, and installation of ductwork with attention to safety and quality.

You will work under Amentum guidelines and interact with teams to ensure timely, compliant workmanship. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED (or 5 years relevant experience) and be able to obtain a NASA badge.

Qualifications

• Use hand tools (aviation snips, nippers, sheet metal tongs, etc.).
• Use power tools (shears, breakers, crimpers, etc.).
• Form & install ductwork.
• Perform material layouts.
• Install roof curbs, dampers & gutters.
• Differentiate gauges and types of metal.
• Knowledge of basic installation codes.

Responsibilities

• Sheet Metal workmanship as assigned.
• Will perform assigned sheet metal duties as an Amentum employee onsite at the NASA Johnson Space Center.
