Job summary

Jobtailor in East Alton, IL is seeking a warehouse associate to receive products, put away stock, and maximize space. You will process backorders and stage orders to meet customer expectations.

The role requires 1+ year of related experience, ability to lift 25–60 lbs, and proficiency with computerized scanning equipment and SAP. This is an on-site position supporting inventory and customer service activities.

Qualifications

• Operate computerized scanning equipment and PC based programs including SAP.

• Receive product from multiple sources including Grainger competitors; maximize cube space.
• Process backorders to fulfill customer orders and meet order ready times.
• Picks & stages customer orders to achieve our goals and Customer expectations.
• Pick and prepare orders for customer. (tracking items removed from crib)
• Perform inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Grounds keeping and trash collection/disposal to provide a clean appearance for customers and employees.
• Support customer service by assisting customers picking up and loading product.
• Resolve customer problems promptly in a manner to retain and promote customer loyalty.
