Job summary

D-Rock Enterprises LLC is seeking an AOSS Operator to inspect and maintain onsite wastewater systems. You will work with homeowners and property owners to ensure systems operate as designed and comply with regulations.

The role supports field operations, including inspections, maintenance, and reporting. Training is available for entry-level candidates, with licensing pathways available for Journeyman/Master Operator levels as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or training program completed.
• Willingness to learn and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and traverse uneven terrain.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Inspect conventional and alternative onsite sewage systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on treatment units, pumps, and controls.
• Troubleshoot alarms, equipment failures, and operational issues.
• Collect water and wastewater samples for field testing.
• Prepare field reports and compliance documentation.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with Virginia Department of Health (VDH).
• Communicate findings and recommendations to customers and management.
• Operate company vehicles and field equipment safely.
• Participate in emergency service and on-call rotations.
