Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Organize stock and maintain a clean work vehicle.
  • Perform minor repairs and replacements of system parts.
  • Assist with stock organization and equipment storage.
  • Keep a clean and organized work vehicle.
  • Follow a Monday–Friday schedule with flexible end times by route.
  • Collaborate with team members and support other departments as needed.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Field Service Septic System Technician to join our team of professional experts. This role requires a people person with excellent communication and customer service skills who enjoys working outdoors and with others. Past septic Field Service Septic System Technician experience is not necessary, we will provide extensive paid training to the right candidate(s).

Field Service Septic System Technicians are responsible for conducting routine inspections, actively diagnosing problems, and resolving septic system issues for our residential and commercial customers that have aerobic OSSF systems.

Job Duties
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on aerobic systems
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues on aerobic systems
  • Accurately estimate repairs, pumping etc.
  • Perform minor repairs and replacements of various aerobic system parts
  • Assist with organization of stock and supply room
  • Keep a clean and organized work vehicle
  • The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a consistent daily start time and flexible ending times that vary based on the assigned route
  • Be a team player, meaning assisting other team members as needed
  • Occasional assistance in other company departments as needed
Qualifications and Skills
  • Candidates must have a valid Texas drivers license, be 21+ years of age and have a clear MVR (driving record) for insurance purposes. No exceptions.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge (1+ years of electrical experience is required)
  • Capable of performing physical labor
  • Capable and willing to outdoor work environment and exposure to all climate and weather conditions
  • Capable of driving for long periods, standing, kneeling, bending and lift up to 30-40 lbs. without assistance

Education and Previous Work Experiences
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent (GED)
  • Previous work history in septic maintenance, pool maintenance, home inspection, vehicle mechanics, plumbing or electrical experience is not required, but would be helpful for easing into this position
