GFT is seeking an experienced Senior Inspector to join our Construction Services team in Conneticuit. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity to lead roadway related transportation projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in the field.

Our focus is on excellence, safety, innovation, and sustainability across Connecticut. As a Senior Inspector, you will observe contractor performance, document field activities, calculate quantities for monthly estimates, and coordinate with engineers,

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting roadway, bridge, or transportation infrastructure construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction materials, inspection procedures, and testing requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily inspections of contractor operations on roadway and bridge construction projects.
• Observe and document construction activities to verify compliance with contract plans and CTDOT requirements.
• Maintain daily inspection reports, field measurements, material records, and construction documentation.
• Verify construction quantities and prepare supporting documentation for monthly payment estimates.
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and inspection personnel to ensure compliance with CTDOT standards.
