UCHealth CeDAR in Aurora, CO is seeking an on-site Front Desk / Patient Scheduler to register patients and manage demographics. The role operates full-time with days shifts and hourly pay depending on experience.

Responsibilities include scheduling visits, guiding patients on what to bring, registering for services, verifying coverage, and handling pre-registration tasks in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Formación

• Front-desk schedules and registers patients.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and collects demographics.
• Communicates appointment details to patients and physicians.
• Handles pre-registration and accounts receivable tasks.
• Maintains accuracy in patient records in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsabilidades

• Schedules appointments, follow-up appointments, and assigns appropriate length of visit per physician request.
• Provides instruction to patients regarding what to bring to the appointment, time of appointment and location of physician.
• Registers patients for medical care including laboratory, outpatient services, physician or other medical office. Pre-registers patients when needed.
• Collects and confirms complete patient demographics, current employer, emergency contact information, insurance and case-specific information such as referring physician.
• Verifies insurance eligibility for governmental insurance payors; may complete Medicare Secondary Payor Questionnaire; reviews patient accounts for outstanding balances.
