BRMi is seeking a Master Painter with 10+ years of commercial, industrial, or institutional painting experience for high-quality interior and exterior work in Vienna, VA. The role involves surface prep, coatings, and finishing, with mentoring of junior painters and strict adherence to safety standards.

Onsite in Vienna, VA, this contract position offers comprehensive benefits and an hourly rate of $35.00–$46.50.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial, industrial, or institutional painting experience.
• Extensive knowledge of interior and exterior painting techniques and finishes.
• Experience with drywall repairs, patching, caulking, and surface prep.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and work orders.
• Experience supervising, training, or mentoring other painters preferred.
• OSHA safety knowledge and best practices for industrial painting.

Responsabilités

• Perform advanced interior and exterior painting for commercial facilities.
• Prepare surfaces, including cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming.
• Inspect finishes and correct defects to ensure high quality.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and timelines to support projects.
• Estimate material quantities and labor needs for project plans.
• Train and guide junior painters on techniques and safety.
• Operate ladders, lifts, scaffolding, and painting equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment per OSHA standards.
