Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst for a 3-month contract assignment fully onsite in Ewing, NJ. The role supports the finance team with financial reporting, analysis, and data management, with a strong emphasis on Excel and accuracy in financial data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or accounting.
• Experience with revenue analysis or revenue recognition concepts preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems or financial reporting tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including variance analysis (actuals vs. forecast).
• Support revenue tracking activities, including revenue-related reporting and reconciliations.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
• Build, maintain, and update financial models and reporting tools in Excel.
• Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and data validation.
• Analyze trends in revenue, expenses, and operational performance to provide insights.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and data integrity.
