Job summary

The Boeing Company in Hazelwood, MO is seeking a Test and Inspection Embedded Software Engineer (Experienced or Senior) to design, develop, test, and maintain C/C++/C# software for NDI and ATE systems. The role includes UI updates, CI/CD pipeline maintenance, and on-site work in Hazelwood, MO.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor Degree, 5+ years in C/C++/C#, 5+ years in embedded software, and 3+ years in test equipment software. Security clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
• 5+ years of experience programming in C, C++ or C#.
• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• 3+ years of experience with test equipment software development and sustainment.

Responsibilities

• Supports design, development, test, debugging and maintenance of software for ATE and NDI devices and systems complying with standards.
• Translates customer requirements into software design for embedded devices and systems.
• Writes and tests embedded code for specific hardware.
• Integrates embedded software with hardware components.
• Monitors and improves efficiency and stability of embedded software systems; participates in testing and debugging.
• Keeps up with new technologies, tools, and regulations relevant to software development and hardware tech.
• Tracks internal/supplier software team performance to ensure compliance with plans and standards.
• Assists with embedded software project management functions.
• Communicates technical information across multiple skill areas to support product delivery.
