Job summary

Fleet Data Centers seeks a Commissioning Senior Manager - Electrical to lead the end-to-end commissioning lifecycle for a Reno-area data center project. You will coordinate electrical systems, SCADA/EPMS integration, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure on-schedule, compliant handover to operations.

The role requires a deep background in electrical distribution, switchgear/transformers, UPS, and power protection, with vendor collaboration and rigorous documentation throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of electrical commissioning experience in mission-critical facilities.
• Proven track record leading IST coordination and functional testing.
• Strong ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage tight deadlines.
• Excellent documentation discipline and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, controls, fire/safety, and related systems.
• Coordinate planning, SOO review, test script development, and witness testing.
• Manage Site Acceptance, inspections, and turnover documentation with vendors.
• Oversee IST readiness, test scripts, and operator training for handover.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.
• Maintain commissioning records, KPIs, and safety/compliance adherence.
