Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Cyber Assurance Analyst for Data Centers to own and scale cyber assurance across ISO 27001, ISO 42001, and SOC 2.

The role focuses on translating requirements into concrete controls, collecting evidence, and driving remediation across a multi-site data center portfolio. You will partner with engineers and operators to ensure controls are implemented in production environments, manage audit readiness, and mentor teammates while aligning with risk-based objectives for

Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity compliance, audits or technical security roles.
• Experience with control testing, policy development or risk management.
• Strong communication and program management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute information security compliance and certification for the data center portfolio across ISO 27001, ISO 42001, and SOC 2 (Type I/Type II).
• Build and maintain audit-ready evidence packages for data center security controls.
• Partner with engineering and system owners to validate technical evidence and confirm controls operate in production environments.
• Plan, coordinate, and support internal and external audits and assessments for data centers; act as liaison to auditors.
• Perform information security and compliance risk assessments; identify deviations and drive remediation.
• Develop, maintain, and improve information security policies and control documentation for ISMS/SOC 2.
• Identify and drive assurance efficiency through better evidence pipelines and automation.
• Maintain understanding of evolving risks and assurance expectations for data centers and AI-enabled environments.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to their development.
