Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Lead Agilist I to work onsite in Ohio on a 12-month contract, with a pay rate of $75/hour on W2. The role requires 3+ years of Scrum experience and 5+ years of full-time business experience.

The candidate will coach multiple teams, facilitate Scrum events, and drive Agile principles across the organization. The position emphasizes servant leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement, with responsibilities spanning coaching, impediment removal, and cross-team

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Scrum experience.
• 5+ years of full-time business experience.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Experience presenting, teaching, mentoring, and facilitating at multiple levels of the organization, particularly inside of a team environment.
• Experience communicating and removing impediments outside of team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile squads and ensure understanding and applying Agile values and principles.
• Facilitate Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective) and ensure value delivery.
• Coach the Product Owner and Development Team in backlog management and stakeholder communication.
• Promote growth of team members and foster self-organization and continuous improvement.
• Identify and remove impediments outside of the team and escalate when needed.
• Provide objective guidance with servant leadership and model Agile behaviors.
