PlayMetrics is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to manage full-cycle AP for multiple entities from our Morrisville, NC office. You will validate charges, monitor spend, and handle treasury-related vendor disbursements while maintaining clean data across ERP and expense platforms.

Requirements include 3+ years in AP, experience with Ramp, NetSuite, and Rillet, and strong communication skills. This is a full-time role based at our Morrisville HQ.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accrual accounting principles and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end AP cycle including invoice review, coding, and approvals.
• Execute vendor disbursements while maintaining internal controls and payment records.
• Manage corporate travel and expense processing using Ramp-related systems.
• Reconcile AP activity, accruals, and related ledger balances for month-end reporting.
• Resolve vendor billing questions and payment issues with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed payment documentation and transaction histories for audits.

PlayMetrics is a fast growing B2B SaaS company revolutionizing the way youth sports organizations operate. Our industry-leading platform is trusted by thousands of clubs, leagues, and governing bodies to manage operations, communication, scheduling, and player development, all in one place.

We are looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the full-cycle accounts payable process across multiple entities. You will be responsible for validating charges, monitoring company spend, managing treasury operations related to vendor disbursements, and maintaining clean financial data across our ERP and expense platforms.

Note: This is a full-time position, and we are looking for a local North Carolina resident to work in the office at our Morrisville, NC headquarters. This position does not offer relocation assistance.

Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable cycle, including reviewing incoming invoices, verifying supporting documentation, assigning accurate account coding, and tracking approvals.
• Execute vendor disbursements while maintaining adherence to internal controls and payment records.
• Manage corporate travel and expense processing using systems like Ramp.
• Reconcile AP activity, accruals, and related ledger balances to support accurate month-end financial reporting.
• Act as the primary point of contact to promptly resolve vendor billing questions, payment issues, and internal transaction inquiries.
• Prepare detailed payment documentation, account breakdowns, and transaction histories for internal and external audits.

Requirements

• 3+ years of dedicated Accounts Payable experience, ideally within a fast-paced Shared Services environment.
• Hands-on experience with Rillet, Ramp and NetSuite.
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting principles, invoice processing workflows, and internal financial controls.
• Highly organized with excellent data entry accuracy. Ability to seamlessly multitask, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation for dealing with external vendors and internal stakeholders.

Qualified Applicants

• Will be at least 21years of age
• Will have a minimum of bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Can communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Are confident using technology and navigating software applications
