Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking a dedicated Security Guard to safeguard staff and customers at our center in Riverton, WY. The role focuses on maintaining secure building access, logging visitors, and enacting emergency procedures in coordination with site leadership.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, completed 47-hour security guard training, and at least three years of security experience, with credentials for electronic monitoring systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with electronic monitoring systems and security procedures.
• Ability to monitor facilities and enforce access controls.
• Strong observant skills and incident reporting responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Carries out onsite security activities to ensure staff and customer safety.
• Maintains and follows security procedures for building accessibility and visitor logs.
• Monitors facility and recommends security improvements.
• Follows escalation procedures for threats, including evacuations.
• Reports security breaches to supervisors and management.
• Coordinates fire drills and mock evacuations.
• Performs regular facility inspections and reports issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
