Job summary

HII is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst 3 to serve as the program security officer for multiple classified programs in Newport News, VA. This onsite role administers security programs and procedures for classified and proprietary materials.

You will guide access, incidents, education, audits, and investigations to maintain compliance with federal regulations, coordinating with program leadership for program-specific security support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) with 6+ years of exempt experience, or Master’s with 4+ years.
• Equivalent combinations (NNS Apprentice School, NNPS, 2-year plus 2 years, or 4 years non-exempt) allowed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer security programs for classified and proprietary materials.
• Review and implement applicable federal security regulations.
• Prepare manuals outlining handling, storage, and access control procedures.
• Conduct security education classes and audits.
• Investigate security violations and prepare preventive-action reports.
• Coordinate with program managers on security guidance, access requests, and incident reporting.
• Coordinate classified VTCs and meeting support.
• Support security functions including clearance processing and training.
