Grand BK Corp in Carlstadt, NJ is seeking a hands-on security engineer to monitor XDR/EDR, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and email security. You will coordinate with the external SOC for alert triage, serve as first responder for incidents, and develop SIEM/SOAR playbooks to enhance automated detection and response.

The role involves threat hunting across endpoints, network, and cloud, plus PCI-DSS evidence collection and external audit support. Onsite, Mon-Fri with a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Cybersecurity or related field.
• 4+ years of information security, security operations, or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong knowledge of network security and OS hardening.
• Hands-on with SIEM/XDR, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanners.
• Experience with incident response and forensics; MITRE ATT&CK knowledge.
• Scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash for automation.
• Cloud security experience, preferably AWS.
• PCI-DSS or similar compliance experience.
• Certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, GCIA; advanced certs a plus.
• Korean and English bilingual preferred.

Responsabilités

• Monitor security tools (XDR/EDR, SIEM) and review dashboards daily.
• Coordinate with the external SOC for alert triage and escalation of incidents.
• Serve as first responder for incidents with triage, containment, and evidence collection.
• Develop, tune SIEM detection rules and SOAR playbooks to improve detection and response.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting across endpoint, network, and cloud telemetry.
• Monitor threat intel (NVD, CISA) and translate advisories into detection signatures.
• Run vulnerability scans, track remediation, and coordinate with IT on patching.
• Perform web application security assessments and coordinate external tests.
• Collect PCI-DSS evidence, conduct access reviews, and support audits.
• Implement and maintain security controls on AWS (WAF, SGs, NACLs).
• Support PAM operations and Zero Trust initiatives.
• Lead security projects (PAM deployment, tool rollouts, compliance).
• Run security awareness training and phishing simulations; track metrics.
• Handle access provisioning and maintain runbooks and weekly/monthly metrics reports.
