Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, CS, or related field.
• 3+ years of information security administration/analysis/engineering in a corporate environment.
• At least one industry security certification (Security+, CISM, CRISC, etc.).
• Experience supporting third-party security tools to audit information systems.
• Strong knowledge of malware defense, incident response, and logging.

Responsibilities

• Perform network security analysis and coordinate with SOC teams for incident response and threat intel.
• Provide strategic and real-time auditing, monitoring, reporting and remediation of security activities.
• Analyze data and prepare reports documenting vulnerabilities from network-based attacks with mitigation actions.
• Coordinate with system and network admins to track and mitigate vulnerabilities timely.
• Assist with user account administration and access control requests.
• Review vulnerability scans and research new threats and malware.
• Configure and monitor security software to ensure regulatory and corporate policy compliance.
• Assist identification, response, investigation, and remediation of potential breaches.
• Conduct security assessments of network, systems, and servers; monitor alerts and communications.
• Log support requests and ensure timely closure; engage 3rd party partners as needed.
