Job summary

Weber Blackstone in Palatine, IL is hiring an Associate IT Security Analyst for an onsite role. You will join the Information Security team and assist across security analysis, incident response, threat management, IAM, risk and compliance, and network/endpoint security functions.

The position emphasizes learning, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and collaboration with IT teams. On-site responsibilities include monitoring security tools and supporting security training and policy

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in Information Technology.
• Entry-level cybersecurity certifications preferred (e.g., ISC2 CC, CompTIA Security, Google Cybersecurity).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure/Entra is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with CIS Top 20 controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitors intrusion detection systems and security toolsets for suspicious activities.
• Execute security operations processes, handle tickets, and incident response tasks.
• Support information security projects and risk analysis efforts.
• Assist with patching of servers and identity/access management.
• Prepare technical reports for management and coordinate security policies.
