Job summary

RICEFW Technologies Inc. is seeking an entry-level DMV Security Team member in South Carolina for a 12-month fully onsite contract. The role trains candidates to perform threat intelligence, hunting, and incident response tasks with mentorship from senior analysts.

The work shifts include weekend evenings and training periods, with required NDA signing if interviewed. Candidates should have basic server/network administration skills and a foundation in security concepts.

Qualifications

• Basic server or network administration skills to build upon.
• Knowledge of security concepts and processes.
• Experience with SIEM and endpoint security tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze threat intel feeds to identify threats.
• Document findings and share with the team.
• Use OSINT tools to gather data on potential risks and adversaries.
• Conduct proactive searches for suspicious activity using provided tools and playbooks.
• Review logs from firewalls, endpoints, and servers for indicators of compromise.
• Assist in incident triage following response frameworks (NIST/MITRE).
• Document hunting methodologies and findings for continuous improvement.
• Develop clear incident reports and after-action reviews.
