Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Scrum Master to lead day-to-day execution for one or more Agile teams in Fort Mill, SC. You will serve as the single voice to business and technical communities, collaborating with stakeholders and client partners to drive delivery.

You will facilitate releases, sprints, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring continuous improvement and effective engagement with stakeholders. This is an onsite role with flexible work options where possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years as Scrum Master and managing Agile projects.
• Seven (7) years of experience across requirements, design, development, QA and UAT testing, and release delivery.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Strong communication and Jira knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of scrum or project teams, acting as the single voice to business and tech stakeholders.
• Facilitate release and sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives for continuous improvement.
• Provide sprint commitment updates to the business via status reports and reviews.
• Oversee design, development, and upgrades to systems and application software.
• Manage functional policies, procedures, QA best practices, and client/stakeholder relations.
