Job summary

E-Therapy in Rockford, IL is seeking an onsite School Speech-Language Pathologist for the 26/27 school year. Start in August 2026. This full-time, 7.5-hour-day role serves PreK-12 students and requires IL SLP license with IL PEL eligibility and ASHA certification.

The SLP will conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, and deliver services across grades, collaborating with educators and families to support communication goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Current ASHA certification required
• Passionate about working with K-12 students
• Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting
• Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric speech-language pathology
• Knowledge of AAC systems and other assistive technology (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
• Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational team members to support goals.
• Incorporate evidence-based techniques into therapy sessions.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Document therapy sessions and progress accordingly.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on needs.
