Onsite School Psychologist Pomona, MD Area

Soliant Education is seeking a committed and qualified School Psychologist for an onsite contract position near Pomona, Maryland for the 2025-2026 school year. Located on Maryland's scenic Eastern Shore, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to serve a diverse student population while enjoying a beautiful coastal setting.

Position Overview
  • Start Date: August 2025 (aligned with 2025-26 school year calendar)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Primary hours: 7:20 AM - 2:40 PM or 8:30 AM - 3:50 PM (depending on school assignment)
  • Weekly Hours: Full-time preferred (will consider part-time)
  • Location: Onsite only; no virtual or hybrid options
  • Assignment: Rotation across 3 elementary schools, 1 middle school, and 1 high school
  • Caseload: Students ages PK-21
  • Equipment: Laptop provided by the district
Primary Responsibilities
  • Conduct a wide range of evaluations as needed, including:
  • Cognitive
  • Social/emotional
  • Behavioral
  • Adaptive functioning
  • Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
  • Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Participate in and contribute to IEP and SST meetings
  • Potential support for counseling services (currently no students identified for psychologist-led counseling)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to data-driven student support planning
Requirements
  • Valid School Psychologist License in Maryland
  • Must be available to work in-person only
  • Experience preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply!
  • Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
