Onsite School Psychologist | Middle School | Near East Longmeadow, CT

Location: Near East Longmeadow, Connecticut

Schedule: Monday to Friday | 35 Hours/Week | Follows School Calendar

Contract Dates: August 2025 - June 2026

Position Type: Full-Time | Onsite (Hybrid Option Available)

Caseload: Middle School | 65-80 Evaluations/Year (No Counseling)

About The Opportunity

Soliant Education is seeking a licensed School Psychologist for a full-time position with a middle school near East Longmeadow, CT for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will focus on evaluations and assessments, contributing to a strong and collaborative special education team. A hybrid work schedule may be available depending on the candidate and district preferences.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
  • Write comprehensive reports
  • Participate in PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings
  • Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to state and district guidelines

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid Connecticut School Psychologist Certification
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but open to all levels of experience
  • Strong skills in psychological evaluation and report writing
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 65-80 evaluations annually
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
