Salesforce Administrator & Technology Lead

  • Onsite/In-office Role

Department: Information Technology

Location: Onsite – White Marsh, MD

Reports To: Chief Operations Officer

Job Summary: Salesforce Administrator & Technology Lead supports and optimizes Wilmot’s Salesforce platform while serving as the go-to resource for onsite technical support. This blended role incorporates hands-on IT support with CRM administration, enabling smooth operations and technology alignment across the organization. THIS IS AN IN-PERSON POSITION.

Job Responsibilities:
Salesforce Administration (70%)
  • Serve as the primary administrator for Salesforce (Sales Cloud), managing users, permissions, data integrity, bugs, enhancements, production issues and system configurations.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, workflows, validation rules, and custom objects to support business operations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements using automation tools (Flows, Process Builder).
  • Collaborate with department leaders to gather requirements and deliver system enhancements.
  • Maintain security policies and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
  • Manage Salesforce integrations with other systems and vendors.
Technology Lead / Onsite IT Support (30%)
  • Provide front-line onsite IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, networking equipment, and mobile devices.
  • Facilitate and support employee onboarding/offboarding, including hardware setup and account provisioning.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to internet connectivity, email, and business applications.
  • Maintain asset inventory and coordinate moves, adds, and changes for hardware and software.
  • Support audio/visual systems for meetings and events.
  • Provide other administrative assistance to support Customer Service, Project Management, and Sales Departments.
  • Maintain Compliance in accordance with all policies and procedures, and Wilmot’s Core Values.
  • Additional duties as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator (Sales Cloud preferred).
  • Salesforce Administrator certification strongly preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of Salesforce best practices and platform capabilities.
  • Experience with basic networking, Windows support, and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical users.
  • Have a solid work ethic that includes doing the right thing, being reliable, trustworthy and honest.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience working in construction, modular structures, or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with IT asset management and helpdesk tools.
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to move about the office, operations center, and modular unit environments to install, maintain, or troubleshoot IT equipment.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, and reaching may be required.
  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment or packages weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Occasional use of ladders or crawling under desks may be necessary to access hardware and cabling.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer.
