Job summary

S&S Activewear is seeking a Safety Specialist (onsite) in Fort Worth, TX to uphold OSHA-compliant safety programs across the warehouse. You will analyze safety data, lead incident investigations, and deliver safety training while partnering with Operations and leadership to foster a proactive safety culture.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in safety or related field, 3–5 years warehouse experience, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Graduate Safety Professional (GSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) preferred.
• 3–5 years of warehouse experience.
• 6S knowledge preferred.
• Proven trainer/facilitator skills and ability to create safety curricula.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of S&S Activewear policies, SOPs, and safety guidelines to prevent injuries and ensure compliance.
• Analyze safety data for trends and deficiencies; communicate improvement plans to leadership.
• Conduct incident investigations for all incidents and near misses.
• Manage workers' compensation case management.
• Perform safety inspections and safety observations.
• Provide comprehensive safety training to new and existing employees.
