Job summary

Harris is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to manage safety and health protocols in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, OSHA certifications, and 4+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in construction or industrial occupational health and safety.
• Experience with workers’ compensation and accident investigation processes preferred.
• OSHA 30 Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the supervision of health & safety programs.
• Conduct routine safety walkthroughs and inspections.
• Prepare and present monthly safety performance metrics.

Skills

Safety certification from an accredited body

Strong knowledge of safety policies

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools

Knowledge of OSHA standards

Education

High School Diploma

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or safety
