Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering, engineering tech, CS, data science, math, physics or chemistry.
• 1+ year in a project using varied software development methodologies.
• 1+ year in a Software Quality role.
• 1+ year independently developing, modifying and documenting actions for problem resolution or corrective action.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and audits safety-critical software (hazards, requirements, code or tests).
• Supports program-level software quality processes, resources and infrastructure.
• Participates in planning, verification and delivery activities.
• Performs audits to verify lifecycle activities comply with standards.
• Supports milestone and review meetings, may present information.
• Participates in configuration management activities.
• Supports test readiness and software quality test activities.
• Verifies integrity of test processes and results.
• Coordinates with regulators and other functions on criteria and procedures.
• Performs final reconciliation of software data products.
• Identifies non-compliances; supports root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborates with supplier product managers to monitor supplier software dev performance.
• Acts as an independent observer for PMs and customers, highlighting best practices.
