Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Linden, NJ is hiring a Sales and Service Route Driver. You will operate a Class B box truck, service parts washer machines, pick up waste, and upsell products along a defined route.

The role requires a Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (within 90 days), strong customer service skills, and ability to visit multiple sites daily. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or ability to obtain within 90 days
• Basic computer and math skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks and drive safely
• Must pass background check, drug test and physical
• Adhere to OSHA respiratory protection standards

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following all safety policies and procedures
• Visit 10–12 customer sites per day
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions
• Service parts washer machines and clean out sediment from sinks
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field
• Service automotive repair fleets and manufacturing customers
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on time
• Follow all local, state and federal regulations and DOT requirements
• Operate vehicles in compliance with regulations
• Follow environmental health and safety guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned
