Job summary

The Cura Hospitality team seeks a Full-Time Registered Dietitian to join the healthcare group at Whitfield, MS. You will assess nutritional needs, develop interventions, and support quality of life aligned with patient goals in a hospital setting.

You will educate staff and patients, follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, and collaborate with other departments to implement nutrition policies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed the national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, per CDR requirements.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional needs of patients/residents and initiate interventions.
• Educate patients, staff, or consultants on nutrition.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to quality improvement programs.
