Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking an on-site Processing Machine Operator for our Pennsylvania recycling operation. The role reports to Production Supervisor and pays $19.00/hr with a potential $2.00/hr increase within the first year through a structured tier advancement program.

Responsibilities include operating shredders and grinders, assisting with compounding equipment, and adhering to OSHA and Triumvirate safety practices. The position is safety sensitive with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to operate large precision shop machinery.
• Demonstrate problem solving and process improvement.
• Must stand 8+ hours and lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
• Role is safety sensitive and requires reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and label different types of material properly.
• Use basic and power hand tools to remove unwanted metal and plastic from recycled plastics.
• Sort plastics for extrusion process and support sustainability goals.
• Adjust temperatures, screw speed and ram settings on compounder machines.
• Daily cleaning of work area and tools; multi-task effectively.
• Operate forklift and stack material safely.
• Follow OSHA regulations and Triumvirate Health & Safety practices.
• Collaborate with co-workers and participate in on-the-job training.
• Possible other duties as assigned.
