Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking an onsite Processing Machine Operator for our West Orange, TX recycling operation. The role reports to the Shift Supervisor and pays $16.25 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities include operating balers, shredders and grinders, assisting with extrusion equipment, and maintaining safety standards. Candidates must have a high school diploma, be able to lift 50 pounds, and pass on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds repetitively and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Identify and label different types of material properly.
• Use basic and power hand tools to remove unwanted metal and plastic from recycled plastics.
• Sort plastics and prepare materials for grinding and extrusion.
• Adjust temperatures, screw speed and ram settings on compounder machines as needed.
• Perform regular cleaning of the work area and tools.
• Demonstrate safe, efficient, and productive work practices.
• Operate a forklift and stack material safely.
• Develop understanding of OSHA regulations and company safety practices.
• Maintain professional relations with co-workers and supervisors.
