Qualifications

• Must be ARRT-registered in Radiation Therapy; if not registered, 1 year to obtain certification.
• Must possess a valid Massachusetts Radiation Therapy license.
• Graduate of a JRCERT- or CAHEA-approved Radiation Therapy program.
• Demonstrated clinical knowledge and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver prescribed radiation; verify prescription and patient identity.
• Administer radiation therapy treatments with safety measures.
• Monitor patient and equipment; maintain patient markings and simulation room.
• Maintain departmental records and schedules.
• Assist in care and maintenance of facilities and supplies; report hazards.
