Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Quality Inspector I to join our onsite manufacturing environment in South Chesterfield, VA. You will inspect cases and parts, mentor others, ensure safety and quality procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 6 months related experience, and the ability to read prints and use precision measuring tools. Flexible hours and overtime may be required; AS400 and forklift certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read customer orders, blueprints and prints.
• AS400 experience and forklift certification are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, quality and performance procedures are met.
• Data collection and charting.
• Take part measurements with calipers, micrometers, CMM.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Final Assembly and other areas.
• Assist with audits and inspections of case lines.
