Qualifications

High School degree or equivalent.
2+ years relevant experience with electrical, mechanical, machining or inspection skills.
Specific knowledge of electrical or mechanical drawing, or machining plus required mathematics.
United States Department of Labor Journeyman Certification.
Certification for Inspection to ANSI N45.2.6.
Certification to Visual VT-1 Mechanical
IPC-610 and IPC-620 certifications and experience.

Responsibilities

Perform the inspections, examinations, and tests according to documented procedures and industry practices.
Plan inspections, examinations, and tests.
Set up tests, including related equipment.
Oversee and maintain surveillance of inspections, examinations, and tests.
Report inspection, examination, and test results.
Evaluate the validity and acceptability of inspection, examination, and test results.
Determine if the calibration status of inspection and measuring equipment is current.
Determine that the measuring and test equipment is in proper condition before use.
