Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services seeks a Quality Engineer to join a 100% onsite team in Grapevine, TX. The role starts in Grapevine and will move to the Fort Worth facility, supporting product quality and QMS initiatives.

The ideal candidate will drive data‑driven quality improvements, manage CAPA, and coordinate with Engineering and Operations to ensure compliant, high‑quality production. ISO auditor certification and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• ISO Auditor certification is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (intermediate level).
• Knowledge of computer functionality and technical sub‑assembly interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Support the Quality Manager and Supervisor in implementing and sustaining quality standards and procedures.
• Create and maintain quality documentation such as manuals, procedures, work instructions, and forms.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly quality reports.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Operations to ensure smooth transfer of new products into production according to approved documentation.
• Support Quality Inspectors to ensure products and processes comply with QMS requirements.
• Analyze failures and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for both internal and external customer concerns.
• Improve receiving inspection processes, documentation, and workflows.
• Lead continual improvement initiatives using methodologies such as 5S and Kaizen.
• Ensure timely resolution of supplier nonconformances and follow‑up on corrective/preventive actions.
• Plan, organize, and manage activities related to incoming and outgoing quality control.
• Conduct internal and supplier audits, generate audit reports, and ensure proper closure of findings.
• Manage supplier performance, including corrective actions, quality monitoring, and audits.
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance quality awareness across the organization.
