Burkert USA Corp is seeking an on-site Quality Engineer in Huntersville, NC. You will drive ISO-based quality systems, perform statistical analyses, and develop sampling plans to improve manufacturing processes. You will work with suppliers on CAPA and audits, and prepare QA reports.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or technical field, knowledge of ISO standards, and 1–2 years in quality engineering. Travel about 10% could be required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical major is required.
• Basic knowledge of quality systems (statistics, sampling, auditing) is required.
• 1–2 years in Quality Engineering or a technical discipline preferred.
• Manufacturing environment experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO Quality Management System standards is a plus.
• Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus.
• Lean implementation in production, warehousing and distribution is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, written & verbal.
• Proficient with SAP and Microsoft Office suite.
• Willingness to travel ~10%.

Responsabilidades

• Quality Management System development and implementation aligned with ISO standards.
• Identify statistical methods for process improvement and sampling plans.
• Apply DMAIC and 8D/5Why tools for CAPA and quality issues.
• Analyze data with hypothesis tests, distribution checks and capability analysis.
• Support supplier quality, audits and corrective actions.
• Prepare QA reports and ensure timely problem resolution.
• Maintain QA receiving inspection processes and procedures.
