Job summary

Power Drives, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing quality at our Buffalo facility. You will perform APQP activities, review PPAP submissions, and help maintain control plans and inspection methods.

The ideal candidate has a 2-year technical degree (4-year preferred), 2+ years of quality experience, and knowledge of AIAG practices and ISO/TS automotive quality systems. This is a 100% onsite role in Buffalo, NY.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree required; four-year degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years manufacturing quality experience.
• Experience with automotive quality systems ISO/TS.
• Experience writing and maintaining Control Plans, PFMEAs, Process Flow Diagrams and Quality Work Instructions.
• Familiarity with PPAP process.
• Knowledge of AIAG standard practices.

Responsibilities

• Verify and validate APQP activities.
• Manage calibration system and related documentation.
• Review and submit all customer PPAP requests.
• Review and approve vendor PPAP submissions.
• Handle Corrective Actions for vendor returns.
• Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement.
