Job summary

Cigna Health and Life Insurance Company is seeking a Staff Fulfillment Pharmacist on-site in Warrendale, PA to ensure accurate, compliant medication fulfillment. You will perform final pharmacist verification and support quality assurance across the fulfillment process.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, adherence to regulations, and a proactive approach to process improvement in a fast-paced environment. 7-week rotating schedule with on-call rotation 4–5 times per year.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in good standing in state of practice.
• ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy degree (BS or Pharm.D).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Effective verbal and written communication; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform final pharmacist verification of prescription and order information for accuracy and compliance prior to dispensing.
• Support adherence to state and federal regulations, manufacturer standards and internal quality programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate issues and implement solutions.
• Assist with onboarding and training related to verification, quality assurance, and processes.
• Provide resource support to pharmacy team members and maintain operational excellence.
