Job summary

System One is seeking a QC Analyst in Orangeburg, NY for a contract role working onsite from 6:00am to 2:30pm. You will perform analyses across clinical chemistry, critical care, coagulation, and microbiology, following GMP standards.

Responsibilities include automated/manual testing, data documentation, and calibration of lab equipment. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Biology, Chemistry, or Medical Technology and 3–6 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or medical technology is required.
• Ability to perform automated and manual lab tests.
• Strong documentation skills in GMP environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses of Clinical Chemistry, Critical Care, coagulation, and microbiology controls and reagents using automated techniques according to GMP.
• Conduct automated and manual assays per SOPs and QC Monographs, including raw material, in-process, and finished product testing.
• Interpret results against specifications and decide pass/fail outcomes.
• Maintain documentation per GMP requirements and monitor storage conditions/expiration dates.
• Perform stability, proficiency, environmental, and water system testing; preventive maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
