Job summary

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 3+ years of Python experience, strong Linux and VM expertise, and deep knowledge of network software, IPv4/IPv6, TLS/IPsec, and RESTCONF/YANG.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of programming experience in Python.
• Expertise in Linux Systems and Virtual Machines
• Expertise in Network Software Engineering with IPv4/IPv6, TCP/UDP/TLS, IPsec, routing, and RESTCONF/YANG

Responsibilities

• Design and architecture of the Navy's next gen test tool for the NSA High Assurance IP Encryptor (HAIPE) family of secure IP networking devices
• Participate in coding reviews, architecture reviews
• Create documentation as required
