Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. in Rutland, VT is seeking an onsite Purchasing Agent to support our industrial MRO customer. You will purchase aviation MRO and related products to maintain inventory service levels, with a focus on vendor‑direct items. Prior purchasing experience is preferred.

The role reports to the Regional Operations Manager and requires on-site work, strong vendor coordination, and a focus on accuracy and customer service in a high-volume environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 3+ years of purchasing or buying experience, especially supporting a region or multiple stores.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to respond to urgent situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Strong technical skills including Microsoft O365 applications.

Aufgaben

• Work on site at the customer’s facility.
• Prepare purchase orders by compiling and maintaining information and records.
• Contact vendors for quotations and maintain relationships.
• Manage file maintenance for products bought from the vendor, including pricing.
• Control buy quantities to meet inventory and service level goals.
• Collaborate with the customer to address purchasing questions/issues.
• Provide guidance to less experienced team members.
• Uphold safety standards and promote customer service excellence.
