Job summary

Brookfield Properties’ Estates at New Albany in Indiana is seeking building cleaning workers to maintain clean and orderly premises across offices, common areas and restrooms. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, polishing, basic repairs, and ensuring safety and cleanliness in a multi-unit residential property.

Position requires a High School Diploma or GED, and prior experience in cleaning roles is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• <1 year of prior experience in cleaning commercial or multi-unit residential properties preferred.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways and locker rooms.
• Sweep, mop, shampoo, wash walls/glass, remove rubbish, and perform minor cleaning tasks.
• Perform minor repairs, painting, carpentry, replenish bathroom supplies, landscaping and snow removal as needed.
• Set up tables/chairs for events; transport equipment between departments; follow safety procedures.
