Job summary

Aon plc is seeking a Project Workers’ Compensation Administrator to manage complex workers’ compensation programs for large-scale projects. The role is onsite at the Port Arthur, TX location and involves partnering with project leadership, insurers, medical professionals, and legal teams to achieve positive claim outcomes.

The position requires 5+ years of workers’ compensation experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in workers' compensation or related area.
• Extensive knowledge of workers’ compensation procedures and rehabilitation.
• Knowledge of claim resolution techniques and litigation processes.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively with injured workers, medical professionals, insurers, brokers, and counsel.
• Develops and maintains project-specific workers’ compensation claims manual and processes.
• Assists subcontractors with CCIP enrollment and workers’ compensation orientation.
• Develops onsite training related to workers’ compensation.
• Prepares regular reports on claims performance and monitors activity for trends.
• Oversees claims processing, eligibility investigations, and subrogation coordination.
• Interfaces with insurers to manage claims and settlement strategies.
• Coordinates early return to work and clinicians for effective claims management.
