Job summary

Cherokee Millwright, Inc. in Cleveland, TN, is seeking a Project Superintendent to manage complex projects from inception to completion. You will maintain budget considerations, safety standards, and accurate record keeping while coordinating field leadership and workforce needs.

Responsibilities include direct work with the Project Manager and General Superintendent, staffing jobs, overseeing safety meetings, equipment and material coordination, and handling emergencies and schedule changes.

Qualifications

• Five years field construction experience is required.
• Two years of supervision experience and/or a Bachelor's degree or equivalent are required.

Responsibilities

• Direct communication with assigned Project Manager and reporting to General Superintendent.
• Staff projects with appropriate leadership and qualified employees.
• Attend daily job-site safety and task assignment meetings.
• Review daily equipment inspection sheets and TSA’s.
• Schedule and coordinate PMs and RM activities with Operations team.
• Coordinate material and equipment deliveries and rentals.
• Manage unexpected schedule changes and emergencies.
• Oversee weekend staffing and materials needs.
• Support annual employee reviews and development opportunities.

Education

Five years field construction
