Job summary

INNIO seeks a Customer Site Leader to oversee on-site activities from project delivery through handover. You will be the single point of contact for the customer at the project site, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution through cross-functional alignment.

Based in Houston, TX, this role requires approximately 90% travel to project sites and will involve coordinating Site Management, Engineering, Commissioning, and Service with contractors to meet milestones and quality standards.

Qualifications

• : Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant work experience considered
• : Several years of experience in site execution, commissioning, project delivery or engineering coordination
• : Experience with engines, generators, gas compression equipment or comparable industrial machinery
• : Knowledge of project controls, scheduling, risk management, and cross-functional coordination
• : Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• : Ability to travel ~90% to domestic and international sites
• : Work is in customer sites, industrial facilities, and construction environments
• : Must be able to wear PPE and work in noisy environments
• : Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and navigate multiple workstreams

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day on-site activities across project execution, installation, commissioning, punch-list completion and handover
• Serve as primary on-site customer interface with clear, professional communication and timely issue resolution
• Provide functional leadership to site personnel and coordinate work without direct reports
• Drive cross-functional alignment to support smooth site execution and ownership
• Maintain oversight across all project phases and multiple engine/workstreams to align with milestones
• Ensure safe, compliant site operations per EHS standards and quality requirements
• Coordinate technical issue resolution with Engineering and Project Management
• Oversee commissioning activities with proper staffing, planning, and documentation
• Lead internal and customer site meetings, track priorities, risks, dependencies and actions
• Ensure site documentation, progress reporting and handover records are audit-ready
• Perform related duties to support operations and continuity
