Job summary

Balfour Beatty US is seeking an on-site Assistant Superintendent in Orlando to help drive large-scale projects from preconstruction through close-out. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals, gaining exposure to complex buildings while sharpening your technical, financial, and leadership skills in a Safety/Zero Harm culture.

You will focus on budgets and scheduling, submittals, RFIs, change tracking, and project close-out, with a clear path for career growth in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in commercial construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Keep projects on track by supporting field leadership in budgets, costs, billing, and scope changes.
• Stay ahead of the schedule by managing site logistics, subcontractor orientations, and ensuring alignment with quality, safety, and sustainability goals.
• Run the details by owning documentation: submittals, RFIs, change tracking, quality checks, and close-out.
• Represent the company by building strong relationships with subcontractors and upholding our values of excellence.
