Job summary

Andersen Construction in Portland, OR is seeking a Project Engineer 3 to join a dynamic jobsite team. You will lead coordination, documentation, and follow-through, owning submittal and RFI processes while protecting the project budget and schedule.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and clear communication with the Owner, Architect, Designers, and Trade Partners. You will mentor other Project Engineers, ensuring information flows smoothly between field and office and helping the team meet

Qualifications

• A 4-year college degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred, or 4+ years construction field experience.
• Minimum 4 years of project experience as a Project Engineer.
• Experience leading a team of Project Engineers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam Revu.
• Experience with Procore, CMiC, or other PM software.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, project accounting, and CPM scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead project engineers and coordinate between field, office, owner, and design team.
• Own submittal and RFI processes end to end with proactive solutions.
• Ensure safety, quality, cost, and schedule are monitored and controlled.
• Maintain organized project plans, drawings, and documentation.
• Support buyout and scope clarification through standard contract terms.
