Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an onsite Project Controls Engineer for significant projects in the Nation’s Capital. You will manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and payment requisitions using the client’s PMIS, while ensuring records and conformance across contracts.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Engineering/Architecture/Construction/PM, 1–2 years construction support experience, and US citizenship. The role offers health benefits, 401(k), stock purchases, and paid time off for full-time salaried

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction/Project Management. Waived for 10 years in the field of construction administration.
• 1-2 years of construction support experience
• US Citizenship

Responsibilities

• Receipt and distribution of Submittals, RFIs, and Potential Change Orders.
• Utilizing the client’s PMIS to assess, process, and maintain records for contracts
• Processing of approved contractor payment requisitions
• Drafting recommended responses and actions for RFIs, submittals, change orders, punch-lists, etc.
• Analyzing construction trends, monitor deliverables, and provide overall administrative management.
• Maintaining as-built drawings and conformed documents; and
• Administer badging procedures for staff

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction/Project Management. Waived for 10 years in the field of construction administration.
