Job summary

Medtronic, a global leader in healthcare technology, is seeking an Associate Production Planner in Villalba, Puerto Rico, on‑site to ensure materials and schedules align with manufacturing goals. The role collaborates with QA, engineering, purchasing, and logistics to maintain efficient material flow and timely production.

The ideal candidate has a related degree and knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, with strong Excel data-analysis skills and a bilingual Spanish/English ability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 0 years of experience.
• Internship, co-op, or project experience in production planning, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or inventory management.
• Knowledge of MRP, ERP systems, and production scheduling processes.
• Experience using Excel for data analysis, reporting, and planning.

Responsibilities

• Plans and controls production schedules and material requirements to meet production needs.
• Advise on WIP status, material availability, inventory, and disruptions.
• Schedule equipment/personnel; prepare work orders and purchase requests.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activity and move parts via orders and transfers.
