Addison Group is seeking a Procurement Specialist for our Bartlett, IL location. This full-time, direct-hire role supports day-to-day purchasing activities, creates and monitors purchase orders, and coordinates with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in procurement or purchasing, strong attention to detail, and experience with vendor communications and ERP systems. Onsite schedule, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
• Experience processing purchase orders and communicating with suppliers.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate purchasing records.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with internal departments and external vendors.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; ability to learn ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders and verify pricing, quantities, and order details.
• Create and monitor purchase orders through approval workflows.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding order status and delivery dates.
• Support inventory replenishment by monitoring supply needs.
• Address routine purchasing issues and escalate complex concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of orders and delivery timelines.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and documentation.
